Having a hospitalist service at your disposal will benefit not only you as a physician, but your patients as well. The services we provide will allow you to concentrate your efforts and time on your office based patients and allows us to provide exceptional care to your newborns when you are short on time or are just too far away to make it to the hospital.
We offer a variety of services and provide coverage for normal newborns at Centennial Medical Center, Baptist Hospital and Vanderbilt for area pediatricians. We also provide coverage for general pediatric patients at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.

Meet Our Hospitalists
Dr. Travis Crook is the newest member of the Pediatric Hospitalists of Nashville team. Dr. Crook comes to us by way of Houston, Texas. He is a graduate of Clemson University in Clemson, SC where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and Psychology. Dr. Crook received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX and completed his pediatric internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine and the Texas Children's Hospital. Dr. Crook has many years experience working in the hospital and teaching. He is a member of the Texas Pediatric Society, Harris County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Crook's interests are medical education and sports medicine, he also speaks spanish and enjoys serving as a staff writer for the Clemson University affiliate of Scout.com.
