Providers Spotlight

Did you know that we have a Pediatric Sports Medicine Specialist? This month's Provider Spotlight is on Dr. James Lohse of Pediatric Specialist of Nashville. Dr. Lohse received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. He completed his family medicine residency at Somerset Family Practice, an affiliate of UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and a sports medicine fellowship at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Dr. Lohse has been active providing team coverage for Rutgers University sports teams, including football, basketball, soccer and wrestling and has regularly volunteered to provide physician coverage for Special Olympics events. Dr. Lohse is board-certified in family medicine and is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Lohse offers fracture management and has same day appointments available for acute injuries with X-RAY available on site. He also treats concussions and various other sports related injuries.
